AGT Soileos

Joint venture with Lucent BioSciences Inc.

In June 2022, AGT Foods and Lucent Bio announced the creation of AGT Soileos, a joint venture company that produces Soileos®, a sustainable, carbon-neutral fertilizer made from pulse and oat hulls. The fertilizer is produced in AGT Soileos’ facility in Rosetown, SK, which began production in October 2023. Soileos is an easy-to-use nutrient solution that confidently delivers higher yields through increased soil health and performance. AGT Foods Oat Milling LP

AGT Foods has completed construction of its new oat milling infrastructure, an expansion of its Aberdeen, SK production facility. The facility features capacity to produce up to 60,000 tonnes of oats per year. The facility produces oat groats that can be further processed for food and feed products. Oat hulls generated in the facility are diverted to AGT Soileos for use in fertilizer production. Contact the AGT trade team to learn more about AGT’s oat products.
