AGT Foods Canada, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Regina Head Office team.

The successful candidate will:

• Prepare journal entries
• Complete monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Co-ordinate and facilitate electronic payments in online banking platforms
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts
• Record monthly accruals
• Assist with various mark to market calculations and entries each month
• Assist with entry of Accounts Payable invoices as required
• Assist with preparation of grower settlements as required
• Assist with quarter-end tasks
• Assist with year-end audit requests
• Assist in the evaluation and enhancement of existing processes
• Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required

Skills & Abilities Required:

• University degree or diploma, specializing in accounting
• Current enrollment or willingness to enroll in a professional designation program
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills and attention to planning, process, and detail
• Must be a self-starter with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience in the Agricultural industry, preferred, but not required
